Day 11.3: First and lasting impressions of the Grand Canyon
The GC is vastly larger and majestic than you can imagine. We'll be hiking on the So. Rim and down the canyon today (day 12). Certainly there will be more photos to post. Hopefully we'll minimize the number of blisters; we've got band aids and good biking boots.

Thanks...we did have a Great hike. We met people on the trail who had gone to the bottom of the canyon and stayed at the Phantom Ranch. Three others were just completing a rim to rim hike...4 days! Made our hike seem like a walk in the woods. David
My hikes in the Grand Canyon are among my best outdoor adventures. I hope you have a great day. But watch out for the Mule puddles.
